Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Physician Assistant to be licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners
- Nurse Practitioner to be licensed by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing
- Ensure accurate completion of patient charts in a timely manner.
- Analyze and interpret patients’ histories, symptoms, physical findings, and diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.
- Order, perform, or interpret the results of the diagnostic tests, as well as responsibly prescribe medications and educate patients on continued treatment and care.
- Order interventions for pain relief once training is completed.
- Maintain behavior that is compliant with Federal and State regulations, guidelines, and requirements including working knowledge of all health information management issues such as HIPPA.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team environment.

Job Description:
Responsible for receiving all EOB's (explanation of benefits) from insurance companies. Reviewing and posting all EOB's received via mail or insurance portals to patient accounts. Forwarding unpaid or underpaid EOB's to insurance clerk responsible for research and refilling. Report to AR supervisor daily any problems or trends noticed with insurance companies payments.

We are open Monday and Thursday 7am-5pm, Tuesday and Wednesday 8am-5pm, and Friday 8am-12 noon. No nights, weekends, call or shift work.
